The Montana Environmental Trust Group, LLC (METG) is the Trustee of the Montana Environmental Custodial Trust (the Custodial Trust) and was created for the purpose of funding and managing the former Asarco lead smelter in East Helena and the affiliated mining sites (Upper Blackfoot Mining Complex (UBMC), Black Pine, and Iron Mountain) in Montana.
