The slag removal project is progressing at the East Helena Site. Unfumed slag from the stockpile is crushed and moved onto an overland conveyor that transports the slag to a load-out area. As a dust control measure, mist is applied to the conveyor of slag. In the load-out area, top-loading rail cars will transport the slag off-Site to the Port of Vancouver, B.C. From there, the slag will be shipped to South Korea for zinc processing.
