‘Incredible transformation’: EPA honors redevelopment of former East Helena smelter site

These project team members and partners received the prestigious Phoenix Award for EPA Region 8 on August 7, 2025, at the National Brownfields Conference in Chicago in recognition of their collaboration on the cleanup and revitalization of the former ASARCO smelter site and lands in East Helena, Montana.
